The Ferrari Roma 2025 is the grand tourer end of this fleet's Ferrari range, a front-engine V8 built to eat distance rather than chase a lap time. Where the mid-engine 296 GTB we also rent is a strict two-seat sprinter, the Roma keeps its engine up front, adds a pair of rear seats and still hits 320 km/h. We deliver it to your hotel, villa or terminal within one to two hours of booking, in red. If your week calls for a fast, comfortable car you can actually live with rather than a lap-time story, the Roma is the one to book.
The Roma runs a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8, 3,855cc, making 612 hp (620 cv) between 5,750 and 7,500 rpm and 760 Nm of torque from as low as 3,000 rpm. Power goes to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the first time Ferrari fitted this transmission to a front-engine V8 road car, and it shifts with none of the drama of the old seven-speed unit it replaced. Zero to 100 km/h takes 3.4 seconds and the car runs to 320 km/h, numbers that matter less here than what the engine does at normal speeds.
That's the real case for renting it. On Sheikh Zayed Road the torque arrives so early that overtaking is a light squeeze of the throttle rather than a downshift and a wait, and the car sits at 120 km/h barely working. It doesn't have the hybrid shove or the manic top end of the 296 GTB behind you, and it isn't trying to. This is a Ferrari tuned to be pleasant at a cruise and still properly quick when you ask for it, which is exactly what a long day out to Hatta or a run to the airport needs.
The nose sits low, as most Ferraris do, and Dubai's steeper mall ramps and taller speed bumps will catch it if you take them square. The Roma comes with a front-axle lift as standard, not an option, so use it every time you turn into a ramp or a sloped driveway. Width is just under two metres with the mirrors in, manageable in a multi-storey bay if you go in slowly, and you can see the corners of the bonnet well enough from the driver's seat once you're used to the car.
Ferrari calls this a 2+2, and that's a fair description if you read it literally. The two rear seats exist and a child or a small adult can use one for a short hop across town, but nobody with adult-length legs is sitting back there through a week of use. Book the Roma expecting two real seats and two occasional ones, not four full seats.
The boot is genuinely usable for a car in this class, about 272 litres under the rear hatch, enough for one large case and a couple of soft bags. That beats a strict two-seater like the F8 or 296 GTB, which push everything into a small front trunk, and it isn't far off what a Bentley Continental GT carries. For two people flying into DXB or DWC with normal luggage it works without a fight. Add a third passenger's suitcase or a family's worth of bags and you'll be stacking them on the back seats, which defeats the point of having them.

Under a lot of glass and a low roofline, the Roma's cabin heats up fast once it's parked in the midday sun, same as any car this shape. Climb back in after a few hours outside and give the air conditioning a minute before it catches up. Once it does, the front vents pull the cabin down quickly because there isn't much air to cool, and the rear seats get less airflow, one more reason not to plan on using them for long.
The 80-litre tank wants premium fuel, and Ferrari's own combined figure is 11.2 litres per 100 km, which puts a full tank at roughly 700 km of gentle driving. Lean on the V8 the way it invites you to and that number drops fast. On a week of mixed city and highway driving, expect to fill up more than once, and budget for it rather than being surprised at the pump. Salik tolls and any RTA fines during your rental are yours to settle, same as with any car we hand over, and belts are mandatory in every seat you use.
Rent the Ferrari Roma 2025 if you want the badge and the drive in a car you can actually use for a week: two adults, real luggage, and the option of a short hop with someone in the back. It's the more comfortable, easier to live with choice next to the 296 GTB or F8 on this fleet, and for anyone whose priority is the drive to dinner rather than a track story, it's the better pick of the two.
Look elsewhere in two cases. If you want the rawest version of the experience, the mid-engine cars are sharper and more dramatic at the edge, even if they carry almost nothing. If four adults need to travel together with proper legroom, no 2+2 does that honestly, and a Bentayga or a full-size SUV is the right call instead.
A few terms to plan for. The daily allowance is 250 km, then AED 0.5 for every kilometre beyond it, and you need to be at least 25 to take the keys. This sits at the top of the fleet, so a refundable deposit applies rather than a no-deposit deal. Book it for the drive and the practicality most Ferraris don't offer, and it's easy to see why people ask for this one by name.
