We deliver the Ferrari F8 2021 to your door in Dubai, usually within one to two hours of booking, keys in hand wherever you are staying. This is the F8 Tributo, the mid-engine, twin-turbo V8 that sits near the top of Ferrari's regular range, and renting one is rarely about getting from A to B. You rent it for the occasion. A birthday, an anniversary, a weekend where the point of the car is the drive itself and the heads it turns. Before you book, it helps to know exactly what this car does brilliantly and where it asks you to compromise, because the compromises are real.
The F8 is a two-seat coupe with a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 mounted behind the cabin, sending around 710 horsepower to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The headline numbers, 2.9 seconds to 100 km/h and a 340 km/h top speed, are not the interesting part. The interesting part is how the car delivers them. The throttle response is sharp, the gearbox shifts are instant, and that V8 builds to a hard, metallic howl near the redline that you feel in your chest. On the right stretch of road it is genuinely thrilling. It is also loud, firm, and completely uninterested in being relaxing.

Sheikh Zayed Road and the E11 are where this car makes the most sense. There's room to let it stretch its legs in higher gears, and the F8 cruises with absurd reserves of power for any overtake you'll ever need. Presence is part of the deal too. People notice an F8, and if being seen is part of why you're renting, it delivers that without trying.
A word on restraint. Dubai's speed enforcement is heavy and the cameras are everywhere, including average-speed sections. A car this fast makes 140 feel like nothing, and the fines land on you, the renter, along with any Salik tolls the car runs up. Seatbelts are mandatory and non-negotiable. The F8 will happily run well past any legal limit here, so the discipline has to come from you.
The cabin is small and snug, two seats and not much around them, which actually helps in the heat. When the car has been parked in 45-degree sun, the air conditioning has less volume to fight, and it pulls the cabin down to comfortable faster than a big SUV would. The vents are strong. That said, the low roof and large glass area mean it bakes quickly when stationary, so give it a few minutes with the AC running before you climb in if it's been sitting out.
Getting in and out is its own event. The car sits very low, the sills are wide, and you lower yourself down into the seat rather than stepping across. Most people manage it fine, but it's not graceful, and if mobility is a concern this is the wrong car.
The front of the F8 is dramatically low, and that becomes a daily concern in Dubai. Steep mall ramps, sharp driveway lips, and the standard speed bumps around residential areas will all scrape the nose if you take them flat-on at normal pace. The F8 has a nose-lift function that raises the front to clear obstacles, and you'll use it constantly. Learn where the button is before you set off, because forgetting it on a steep ramp is an expensive mistake.
Parking takes thought too. The car is wide, visibility behind is poor, and tight multi-storey bays mean you'll often park further out and walk. Treat that as part of owning the experience for the day rather than a flaw.
There is almost no space. The front compartment swallows a couple of soft bags or a backpack, and that's the limit. A single hard suitcase is a struggle, two won't go. For a DXB or DWC airport run with real luggage, the F8 is the wrong tool. Use a sedan or SUV for the bags and save the F8 for the drive. As for fuel, with a 78-litre tank and consumption that climbs steeply once you're using the engine the way it's meant to be used, expect to visit a petrol station regularly across a hard week. Driven gently it'll stretch further, but nobody rents an F8 to drive it gently.
Rent it if you want one unforgettable drive, the noise, the acceleration, the spectacle of arriving in a proper mid-engine Ferrari. For a special occasion or a day of pure driving on open roads, nothing in the rental fleet feels like this.
Skip it if you need the car to actually work for you. Carrying passengers, luggage, doing airport runs, or covering long comfortable distances all point you elsewhere. For two people who want speed and Ferrari badge appeal with usable boot space and a calmer ride, a front-engine GT like a Ferrari Roma or an Aston is the smarter pick. For anything involving more than two people or real luggage, rent an SUV. The F8 is a thoroughbred. Rent it for what it is, and don't ask it to be sensible. Security terms for a car at this level are stricter, so confirm the requirements when you book.
