Staying cool through a Dubai summer

This is the question we get most from May onward, so let's deal with it early. Park anywhere in the sun and the cabin turns into an oven, and what counts is how fast the AC claws it back. The Groove's small interior helps here, because there's less air to chill, so the front vents bring the temperature down quickly once you're rolling. A minute with the doors shut and it's livable. It's a budget car, so there are no rear vents and no dual-zone climate. The two front seats get cold; back-seat passengers on a long, hot run will feel the difference. The 1.5 gets the job done around town but feels stretched on long overtakes above 100, and the back seats aren't where you want adults for hours.
