Those numbers matter less than how the power arrives. There's no waiting for boost or a downshift to line up; the torque is just there from low in the rev range, so an overtake on Sheikh Zayed Road is one unhurried squeeze of the throttle rather than a decision.

It isn't the sharpest thing to throw at a roundabout, and it doesn't need to be. This is a grand tourer first, a sports coupe second. At 120 km/h it barely stirs, the cabin close to silent, and that composure is what you're actually renting when you book a Continental GT over something smaller and twitchier.

Two seats that matter, and what fits in the boot

Bentley calls it a 2+2, and that description is honest. The front seats are where the car happens, wide, deeply cushioned, built for a driver and a passenger doing real distance. The rear bench is smaller and lower, fine for a couple of kids or an adult on a short run across town, not somewhere a grown adult wants to sit for a trip to Abu Dhabi. Parking asks for a bit of care. At just under two metres wide before the mirrors, a Marina tower bay or a tight mall ramp wants patience rather than speed, and the 152 mm ground clearance means a steep ramp taken square and fast is the way you scrape a splitter that costs more to fix than most cars are worth.

Book the Continental GT 2020 if you want to drive something that looks properly rare in this colour, covers real distance without drama, and rewards two people more than four.
