Doorstep delivery in one to two hours, debit cards and cash accepted, and you can rent from 18: that's how we hand over the Audi RS3 2024 in Dubai, and it makes one of the quickest cars in its class easy to get into. The RS3 2024 is a 400 hp five-cylinder hatch that reaches 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, and the question this page answers is a simple one. Is a car this fast actually worth renting for a week of real Dubai driving, or is it a toy that punishes you the moment you're stuck in Marina traffic? Our answer is that it's both, and which one wins depends entirely on why you're booking it.
Start with the part nobody warns you about. The RS3 is a genuinely usable car around town. It's the size of a normal A3 hatchback, so it tucks into tight multi-storey bays and threads through Marina back roads without fuss. The all-wheel-drive Quattro system means it never feels twitchy in the wet or skittish pulling out of a junction, and the automatic gearbox handles crawling traffic smoothly once you're rolling.
The catch is the ride. This is a firm car by design, with low-profile tyres and a sport setup that sends every road imperfection through to the cabin. On Dubai's smoother roads that's fine, even pleasant. Over the rougher patches and the harder speed bumps it's busy. If your daily commute is all stop-start city work, the RS3 will feel like overkill on most days and a treat on the open stretches.
This is where the booking makes sense. The 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder is one of the great modern engines, and the 2024 RS3 carries the full 400 hp version with 500 Nm of torque. The five-cylinder firing order gives it a sound no four-cylinder rival can copy, and the 3.8-second sprint to 100 km/h is properly quick by any measure.
On Sheikh Zayed Road it's in its element. Drop two gears, and the surge from 100 to 160 happens with the kind of authority that makes overtaking effortless. The Quattro traction puts all of it down cleanly, so you're never wrestling the wheel. A run out toward Hatta on a clear morning is exactly the kind of drive this car was built for. Keep it for those moments and you'll understand why people pay for it.

Two numbers decide whether the RS3 suits your week. The first is the 55-litre tank. This engine drinks, especially when you use the performance you're paying for, so expect real-world economy around 9 to 11 litres per 100 km in normal driving and noticeably worse if you don't hold back. Plan on filling up every three or four days, or more often if you're enjoying it. That's the cost of the car doing what it does.
The second is ground clearance, at 121 mm. The RS3 sits low, and Dubai is full of mall ramps and tall speed bumps that don't suit a low front lip. None of it is a problem if you slow down and take steep ramps at an angle, but you'll want to stay alert. Treat the low ride as the trade for the handling, because that's exactly what it is.
Space follows the same logic. The boot holds 282 litres, enough for a large case and a bag or a weekly shop, growing to 1104 litres with the rear seats folded. The front seats are superb and the rear bench works for kids or short adult trips, but four adults plus airport luggage is asking too much of a hatch this size. For that job, size up.
A car parked in a Dubai summer hits oven temperatures, and the RS3's climate system deals with it well. The front vents are strong, it cools a hot cabin fast once you're moving, and rear passengers get their own outlets so nobody bakes in the back. A minute with the doors shut after pickup and it's comfortable even in July.
A couple of local points worth knowing before you set off. Salik tolls are billed to you at each gantry, and any RTA fines during the rental are your responsibility, which matters a lot in a 400 hp car around speed cameras. Belts are required in every seat, and under-fours need a child seat, which we can supply on request.
The RS3 2024 is for the driver who wants the experience: the sound, the speed, the precision, and a premium cabin to sit in while you enjoy all of it. If that's you, and you'll be the one behind the wheel most of the week, book it without hesitation. As a solo or two-person car for someone who loves driving, it's one of the most rewarding things we rent.
It's the wrong call if you need to move four adults and their bags, want a soft ride for long daily commutes, or have desert plans, because the low clearance and Quattro tyres are built for tarmac, not sand. For those uses an A6 saloon or a Q5 makes more sense. But if the point of your week is the drive, the RS3 2024 is exactly the car for it.
