Can I take a rented SUV into the desert?

It depends on the car. Big SUVs like Land Cruiser, Pajero, and Patrol are built for desert driving. Smaller ones like Tucson are not - you'll get stuck and it'll be expensive to recover. Always ask us before taking any car off-road. Some insurance policies don't cover desert damage.

Is a 7-seater enough for 7 adults?

Honestly? Not really. The third row in most 7-seaters is tight. Kids fit fine. But adults will complain after 30 minutes. If all 7 are adults, get an 8-seater or split into two cars. Your passengers will thank you.
