Town Square Car Rental in Dubai

You receive your Town Square car rental at your own building, in the visitor bay outside Zahra, Safi, UNA or your townhouse cluster, with the keys handed over in person and the car collected the same way when you're done. We deliver across the Nshama community off Al Qudra Road, so there's no trip to a rental counter and no taxi to a depot. That matters here more than in most Dubai areas, because Town Square sits well south of the city and a counter pickup eats an hour you don't have. The argument is simple. When you live this far out, the car should come to your door, and the daily cost of driving in and out is the number worth knowing before you book.

Where you get the car and where it waits

We meet you in the parking area of your building. Town Square gives apartments and townhouses allocated and visitor parking, so we pull into a bay outside Zahra, Safi, UNA, Hayat or your townhouse row and hand the keys over there. No valet, no underground maze, no escort needed. It's one of the easier handovers in Dubai for that reason.

If you'd rather meet at Town Square Park or near the central plaza by the boulevard shops, that works too. Tell us the building name or the nearest park and we'll be at the spot you choose at the time you set. Return is the mirror image. We collect from the same bay, so you don't drive anywhere to drop the car back.

Because parking here is plentiful and free, there's no pressure to rush the handover the way there is at a valet-only Marina tower. We'll walk the car with you, note any existing marks, and you're away.

What it costs to drive in and out

Town Square has no Salik gate inside it. The tolls only start once you head into the city. Your route out is Al Qudra Road, then onto Sheikh Zayed Road or Al Khail Road depending on where you're going, and that's where the gates sit.

Drive toward Downtown or the Marina on Sheikh Zayed Road and you'll pass the Al Safa or Al Safa South gates. Cut across on Al Khail Road and you may pass the Business Bay Crossing gate instead. Each pass is AED 6 during peak hours, 06:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, and AED 4 off peak. It's free between 01:00 and 06:00, and a flat AED 4 on Sundays and public holidays. Two linked gates within an hour count as one charge.

For a Town Square resident the honest read is this. A daily commute to Downtown or Dubai Marina will likely cross one or two gates each way, so budget roughly AED 12 to AED 24 a day in tolls. Stay local around Arabian Ranches, the Cityland Mall side or the Dubai Outlet Mall and you can avoid Salik altogether. Parking at the malls and at your own building is free, so the toll is usually your only road cost out here.

No deposit, and how Salik and fines are settled

We don't hold a deposit, and we take debit cards as well as credit. So nothing is blocked on your card for the length of the rental.

Salik and any traffic fines are reconciled after you return the car, not held against a deposit up front. Dubai enforces speed and lane rules heavily by camera, especially on the open stretches of Al Qudra Road and Emirates Road where it's easy to drift over the limit. If a fine lands on the car during your rental, we pass it on at the original amount shown plus a flat admin fee, and we show you the charge. Same with Salik. You pay the toll that was actually charged, passed straight through, with nothing padded onto it.

The right car for Town Square

For most people here a compact or mid-size sedan is the sensible pick. Parking is easy, the roads out are wide and fast, and a smaller car keeps your fuel and rate down on the long runs into town. Something like a Nissan Sunny or a Corolla covers the daily commute without fuss.

A family in a townhouse, or anyone planning the school run plus weekend trips toward Hatta or the Al Qudra desert and lakes, is better off in a mid-size SUV. You get the boot space and the ride for the longer drives that come with living this far out, and the higher seat helps on the unlit stretches at night.
