A Rolls-Royce Cullinan 2024 rental in Dubai comes with one number worth knowing before you even ask about the horsepower: go past your daily kilometres and the desk bills you AED 20 for every one after that. That is not small print, it is the pricing this class runs on, and it changes how you should plan the week, not just how you drive it. We still get the car to you fast, black, five seats, all-wheel drive, delivered to your hotel, villa or terminal within one to two hours of booking. The Cullinan earns every bit of its reputation once you're in it. This page is about renting it without that per-kilometre line becoming the most expensive part of your stay.
Everything about this car is built around a 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 making 563 hp and 850 Nm, sent through an eight-speed automatic to all four wheels. The torque arrives early and stays flat, so overtaking on Sheikh Zayed Road doesn't involve waiting for the engine to catch up with your foot. Rolls-Royce quotes 5.2 seconds to 100 km/h and caps the top speed at 250 km/h, and for a car close to 2,660 kg that's quick without ever feeling urgent. The air suspension reads the road ahead and softens the body before a bump lands, which is the part that actually explains why this car costs what it does to rent. Patched tarmac and expansion joints that jolt a normal SUV barely register here. None of it comes cheap to run day to day. Combined fuel economy sits around 16.5 litres per 100 km on premium fuel, and a 100-litre tank empties faster over a week of city driving than almost anything else in our fleet, so build in more stops than you would for a Range Rover or a Cayenne.

This is a five-seat SUV, not a seven, and the rear bench sits high enough that passengers look out over surrounding traffic instead of into it. Two adults travel properly back there on an airport run, with the legroom and cushioning to make an hour on the road feel short. The boot holds 560 litres behind the seats, which covers two large cases and a couple of soft bags without folding anything down. Push it to four adults with a full week of luggage between them and the boot runs out before the cabin does. Folding the bench opens roughly 1,930 litres, though renting a Cullinan to move boxes rather misses the point of one.
Size is the other daily reality. At 5,341 mm long and 2,000 mm wide across the body, wider again with the mirrors out, this isn't a car you thread into a Marina tower bay at speed. Go slowly, lean on the cameras, and fold the mirrors in anywhere tight. The 173 mm of ground clearance and the height-raising air suspension handle mall ramps and speed bumps without drama, so it's the length you manage, not the clearance. Heat is the last piece. A cabin this size under this much glass comes back genuinely warm after a few hours parked in the sun, so give the engine a minute before you climb back in. Once the system catches up, the front vents pull hard and cold air reaches the rear seats directly rather than trickling back from the dash. Salik tolls and any RTA fines during the rental are yours to settle, and a child under four needs a proper child seat regardless of what's parked outside.
The daily allowance is 250 kilometres, which covers an ordinary day of hotel to dinner to mall comfortably. It stops being generous the moment your day includes a real trip. A round trip out to Hatta or a run down to Abu Dhabi and back can clear 250 km on its own, and once you're over the line, every extra kilometre costs AED 20. That is roughly forty times what most of our other cars charge for the same overage, so thirty kilometres past the cap turns into AED 600 before you've noticed, and a genuinely long day out can run into the thousands. The fix isn't complicated. Work out roughly what each day of the rental actually needs in kilometres before you book, add a day rather than stretch one day's distance, and treat 250 km as a hard ceiling rather than a rough guide. You'll need to be 21 to take the keys, younger than the age some other cars in this class ask for, though a refundable deposit still applies as it does across our most expensive class. There's no way around that on a Cullinan, so plan the kilometres, not just the days.
Book this Cullinan for a defined stretch of driving you can actually map out beforehand: a wedding, an airport arrival meant to look like one, a few days moving between hotels and dinners inside the city. For that kind of trip the 250-kilometre allowance covers you without the AED 20 rate ever coming into play, and nothing else we carry rides or arrives quite like this one does. If your week is looser, the kind where you might decide on a whim to drive to Abu Dhabi or spend a day exploring further out, the mileage cap turns against you fast, and a Range Rover or a Porsche Cayenne gets you most of the comfort and presence with a far gentler overage rate and a smaller deposit to carry. The Cullinan rewards a booking with a plan behind it. Know your kilometres before you know your itinerary, and it's worth every dirham.
