Mercedes E 350 2021 - start from 408 AED / day

Need a full-size executive saloon for a week of meetings and hotel runs? We hand over the Mercedes E350 2021 across Dubai, with a no-deposit option that means you don't tie up a chunk of cash on the card just to drive a car this nice. The E350 is the quiet, grown-up choice: a hushed cabin, a smooth mild-hybrid four and the kind of long-distance comfort that makes a Sheikh Zayed Road commute feel like nothing. This page is about whether that comfort-first character is the right fit for your trip, or whether you'd be better served sizing down or stepping into an SUV.

What kind of car the E350 actually is

The badge says executive saloon, and the E350 leans into that rather than chasing lap times. Under the bonnet sits a 2.0-litre turbo four with EQ Boost, Mercedes' mild-hybrid system, putting out 299 hp through a 9-speed automatic. On paper 5.9 seconds to 100 km/h reads quick, and it is brisk enough for confident overtakes, but the real character is the calm. The hybrid assist smooths out the stop-start shuffle so the car pulls away cleanly from lights without the hesitation you get in some turbo fours, and at a cruise it settles into near silence.

So this is a car you pick for refinement, not theatre. If you want a Mercedes that feels fast and dramatic, that's the AMG money, not the E350. What you get here is poise and quiet, which for business travel matters more than a quick launch.

The cabin: where the money shows

Inside is where the E350 earns its rate. The dashboard runs wide screens, the materials feel properly finished, and road and wind noise stay low enough that a phone call on the move actually works. Two adults up front have generous room, and the rear bench seats three at a push or two in real comfort, which is the configuration most rear passengers travel in.

For Dubai this matters more than usual. Climbing into a car that's been baking in a mall car park at 45 degrees is the daily reality here, and the E350's AC pulls the cabin down quickly once you're rolling, with rear vents so back-seat passengers aren't left to suffer on the way to a meeting. It won't be ice-cold the instant you sit, no car is, but it recovers fast and holds a steady temperature on a long run.

Boot space and luggage

The boot holds 540 litres, which is generous for the class and the practical reason to choose a full-size saloon over something smaller. Two large suitcases plus a couple of cabin bags go in without a fight, so a DXB or DWC airport run with a family's worth of luggage is comfortable rather than a game of Tetris. The opening is wide and the load floor is flat, so awkward bags load easily. For an airport pickup with four people and their cases, this is one of the few cars in our fleet that genuinely swallows it all.

Running it through a Dubai week

Fuel economy sits at 7.2 L/100km combined on the official figure, and in real Dubai use, with the AC working hard and some heavy traffic, you'll see a little more than that. Call the 66-litre tank good for roughly a week of mixed city and highway driving before you think about a fill, maybe a top-up if you're doing daily long runs to Abu Dhabi. Range is around 900 km on a tank in gentle conditions, less when you lean on it.

On the road the E350 is in its element on the E11. It cruises at highway speed with the engine barely audible, holds its line through fast curves, and has plenty in reserve for an overtake. Around town it's a different ask. This is a long car at nearly 4.9 metres, so tight multi-storey bays and a Marina ramp need a bit more care than a compact would, and the modest ground clearance means you take aggressive speed bumps slowly. The reversing camera and sensors take the stress out of parking, but you'll still want to pick your bay with the car's length in mind.

A couple of Dubai practicalities worth stating plainly: Salik tolls run on the car's tag and get passed to you, and any RTA fine during your rental is yours to settle, so keep an eye on the speed cameras on the E11. Seatbelts are mandatory in every seat.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the E350 if you're here for business, doing hotel and meeting runs, or you want a relaxed, quiet car for highway miles and the occasional airport collection with luggage. It's the saloon that makes a long Dubai week feel easy, and the no-deposit option keeps the booking clean. If you're mostly nipping around the Marina solo and parking in tight residential towers, a C-Class gives you the same Mercedes feel in a smaller, easier-to-place body for less. And if your week involves a desert camp, Hatta switchbacks or rough tracks, the E350's low clearance rules it out, so step into a GLC or a larger 4x4 instead. For comfort-first executive driving on tarmac, though, this is the car to book.
