Mercedes E 300 2022 - start from 420 AED / day

Two hundred and forty-five horsepower from a 2.0-litre turbo, sent to the rear wheels, is what separates the Mercedes E 300 2022 from the executive sedans most people settle for in Dubai. We deliver it to your door in 1 to 2 hours, anywhere in the city. This is the E-Class that actually moves when you ask it to, a midsize Mercedes that cruises like a limousine but has the muscle to make Sheikh Zayed Road feel short. The question this page settles is simple: who should pay for the 300 over the cheaper E 200, and where the line sits between this and an S-Class.

What the 300 badge buys you

The E 300 runs a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo making 245 hp, driving the rear wheels through a nine-speed automatic. It does 0 to 100 in 6.2 seconds and is limited to 250 km/h. Those numbers matter less as bragging rights than as everyday margin. Slip onto the E11 behind a slow truck, drop the throttle, and the car gathers speed with no drama and no downshift hunting. The E 200 gets you there too, just with less in reserve. If you spend real time on the highway, or you simply like an executive car that responds, the 300 is the one to take.

Rear-wheel drive gives it a planted, balanced feel at speed that front-driven rivals miss. It's a confident overtaker at 120, and steady when a desert crosswind hits the bridges out toward the Marina.

How it handles a Dubai summer

The cabin is where you'll spend your week, and the E-Class earns its class here. Leave it parked under the July sun and the interior bakes to the high 40s like anything else, but the climate system pulls it back fast. Give it three or four minutes with the fans up and it's genuinely comfortable, quicker than most cars in the segment because the cooling is sized for a premium cabin. Rear passengers get their own vents, so a back-seat client or a child on the school run isn't left waiting on the front to cool down.

It's a quiet car too. Wind and road noise stay low at highway speed, which is half the reason an E-Class feels expensive even when you're just doing airport runs.

Boot space and airport runs

The boot holds 540 litres, and that's a real number for a sedan. Two large hard cases plus a couple of cabin bags go in without a fight, which covers a family arriving at DXB or a pair of business travellers heading to DWC for a week. The opening is wide and the floor is flat. Where it gets tight is the awkward stuff, golf clubs at an angle or a third oversized case, since a sedan boot can't swallow height the way a crossover does. For four adults and all their luggage, you're packing thoughtfully, not throwing things in.

At 4.9 metres long it's a proper executive car, so multi-storey bays and a few Marina ramps ask for a bit of care. Parking sensors and the camera make it easy, and the turning circle is better than the length suggests. Nothing about daily parking is a problem; it just isn't a hatchback.

Fuel, range and what you'll actually spend

Mercedes quotes 6.3 to 6.9 l/100km combined, but that's a lab figure. In real Dubai driving, stop-and-go on Al Khail mixed with AC running flat out, expect to land higher, closer to 9 or 10 around town. On a steady highway cruise it sips far less. With the 66-litre tank you'll comfortably get a full week of normal city use between fills, and a long run to Abu Dhabi and back on one tank is easy. For a 245 hp executive sedan, that's reasonable.

A few Dubai facts worth stating plainly. Salik tolls run on your account during the rental, and any RTA fines come back to you, so watch the camera-controlled stretches on the E11. Seat belts are mandatory in every seat, front and back. None of this is unusual; it's just how renting here works.

Who should take the E 300, and who shouldn't

Take the E 300 if you want the performance-luxury version of an executive week: the extra power, the rear-drive composure, the sense that the car has more to give every time you press on. It's the right call for highway-heavy trips, business travellers who want presence, and anyone who finds the E 200 a touch flat. The E 200 below it is the value pick. Same cabin, same comfort, less urgency under the bonnet, and a lower rate. If you mostly potter between meetings and the mall, the 200 is honestly all you need.

Look past the E 300 only if your week is genuinely about being driven. The S-Class is longer, plusher and far more expensive, built for the back seat first. For the person who'll do the driving and wants a fast, quiet, properly luxurious sedan that still fits a normal parking bay, the E 300 is the sweet spot. We'll have it at your door within the hour or two.
