Mercedes C 300 2025 - start from 648 AED / day

Most renters who size up to a Mercedes don't actually want the biggest car on the lot. They want the badge, the cabin, and enough road manners for a week of meetings and airport runs, without parking a barge in a Marina basement. That's the slot the Mercedes C 300 2025 fills, and we deliver it to your door in Dubai within one to two hours, with 250 km a day included before any extra-kilometre charge applies. It's the newest and best-judged member of the C-Class family. The argument here is simple: this is the sweet spot of the lineup, roomier and plusher than an A-Class, far easier to live with day to day than an E-Class.

Where the C 300 sits in the family

Think of the three sedans as a ladder. The A-Class is the entry point, small outside and tighter in the back. The E-Class is the flagship, longer and quieter, and a step up in price and footprint. The C 300 lands between them and borrows most of what makes the bigger car feel special, the screen layout, the cabin materials, the mild-hybrid drivetrain, in a body that still fits a standard parking bay.

Under the bonnet is a 2.0-litre turbo four paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, sending 255 hp to the rear wheels through a 9-speed automatic. It clears 0 to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds and is limited to 250 km/h. That's more than enough for any overtake you'll attempt here, and the hybrid assist smooths the stop-start crawl that defines most Dubai commutes.

Do my airport cases fit

The boot holds 455 litres, generous for a compact executive sedan and the figure most people want before a DXB run. In real terms that's two large hard cases and a couple of cabin bags, or a full week's shopping with room to spare. Four adults flying out together with a big case each will find it tight, and that's where an E-Class earns its extra length. For two or three passengers heading to the airport, you won't think about space once.

The cabin seats five, though the rear bench is best treated as comfortable for two adults on a longer trip and fine for three on shorter hops across town.

How often you'll stop for fuel

The C 300 returns around 11 km/L in city driving, respectable for a 255 hp sedan and helped by the hybrid system recovering energy in traffic. With the 65.8-litre tank, that's roughly 720 km of city running between fills, and closer to 980 km if your week leans toward steady highway cruising. For the usual mix of errands, dinners, and the odd airport trip, expect to fill up once across the week. Fuel here is cheap, so the bigger cost to watch is Salik: every gantry you pass on Sheikh Zayed Road adds a toll, and those tolls are billed to you, the renter, along with any RTA fines.

Heat, AC and a parked cabin at 45

This is the question we get most in summer, and the C 300 handles it well. The climate system pulls a cabin that's been baking in a mall car park down to comfortable within a few minutes of pulling away, and the rear vents mean back-seat passengers aren't left waiting. Park in shade where you can and crack the windows for the first thirty seconds, and you'll be cool before you've cleared the ramp. It's a clear step above the budget classes, where a small cabin and weaker vents make those first minutes genuinely unpleasant in July.

Parking and the daily drive

At 4,751 mm long and 1,820 mm wide, the C 300 is compact by executive standards, so tight multi-storey bays and the spiral ramps in Marina towers are manageable rather than nerve-wracking. The 150 mm of ground clearance is set for tarmac, so take steep mall ramps and aggressive speed bumps slowly and at an angle to avoid scraping the nose. On the open road it's in its element. Sheikh Zayed Road cruising is quiet, the rear-drive chassis feels planted at speed, and overtaking a slow lorry on the E11 is a non-event. Seatbelts are mandatory in every seat, and children under four need a child seat, which we can fit on request.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the C 300 if you want a genuine Mercedes for a week in Dubai without overcommitting on size or budget, two or three passengers, business or leisure, with luggage that fits a 455-litre boot. It drives better than it needs to and looks the part at any hotel forecourt.

If you're mainly doing solo city errands and want the lowest rate with the same badge, the A-Class does that job and parks even easier. If you're regularly carrying four adults with full airport luggage, or you simply want the most rear-seat room and the quietest highway ride in the range, step up to the E-Class. For most people, though, the C 300 is the one that gets the balance right.
