It is still a tall, heavy vehicle, and you notice that under hard braking and in slow, tight corners where the mass has to go somewhere. That said, this is a rented supercar SUV, not a desert vehicle, and all-wheel drive is there for grip and stability on tarmac, not an invitation to try Al Qudra's soft sand. At just over two metres wide across the mirrors, a Marina tower ramp or a tight mall multi-storey wants folded mirrors and an unhurried approach, though the flat glass and high seating position make it easier to judge than the width suggests.

Heat, running costs and living with it

A cabin this size takes a minute longer to cool from a parked 48-degree afternoon than a small hatchback would, simply because there is more air inside it to shift. Real Dubai traffic with the AC working hard all day pushes that into the high teens, so budget for regular stops rather than one fill a week. Who should rent it, and who should look at a Cayenne or Huracan instead

Book the Urus if you want the badge, the noise and the pace of a proper Lamborghini but refuse to leave three people and the luggage behind. Nothing else at this price gets close to matching a genuine 5-second-flat feel off the line while still doing a family airport run without a second car.

If you are one or two people who want the purest version of that Lamborghini feeling and do not care about back seats, a Huracan is more focused, lighter on its feet, and arguably more fun for the money, though you will be down to a soft bag and no rear bench. If the badge matters less than the driving experience and the running costs, a Porsche Cayenne gets you a genuinely good-handling five-seat SUV for meaningfully less at the pump and at the counter. The Urus sits between those two answers on purpose. It is the one to book when you actually need both things the badge and the back seats at once.
