Lamborghini Urus 2023 - start from 3,070 AED / day

Pull up to a Marina restaurant or a DXB arrivals lane in the Lamborghini Urus 2023 and the car does the talking before you've opened a door. We deliver it across Dubai, usually within one to two hours, with 250 km a day built in and no deposit option on request, so a statement arrival doesn't have to start with a fight at a rental desk. This is the newer Urus, the one to choose if you want the latest cabin and the sharpest version of the look. Under it sits the same recipe that made the car famous: a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, 650 horsepower, and 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, all in a five-seat SUV. What this page sorts out is whether the 2023 is worth picking over an older year, and who should size the experience differently.

Why the 2023 specifically

Every Urus year shares the core hardware, so the case for the 2023 is about feel and finish rather than raw numbers. You get the more current interior and the most up-to-date take on the design, which is the difference renters notice when they're paying for presence. If the point of the booking is to look and feel current, the newer year earns its slightly higher rate. If you only care about the drive and the noise, an older Urus delivers almost the same thing for less, and we'll point you there honestly.

Keeping cool through a Dubai summer

Start here, because in July it's the first thing you feel. A parked Urus with a dark interior gets brutally hot, and Dubai routinely hits the high 40s. The good news is the climate system is strong and pulls a sealed cabin down quickly once you're rolling, the front vents hit hard, and rear outlets mean back-seat passengers aren't left to suffer. Give it a minute or two after a midday handover before you expect it to feel right. If your car has ventilated seats, use them. The cabin copes with the climate far better than its first thirty baking seconds suggest.

The drive, and where it shines

On Sheikh Zayed Road the Urus is doing exactly what it was built for. It settles at the limit with no effort, overtakes the instant you ask, and stays planted through the crosswinds on the long bridges. The all-wheel-drive traction and the deep V8 mid-range mean it never feels short of breath the way smaller SUVs do above 120.

The catch is the ride. It's firm, leaning sporty rather than plush, so Dubai's patched surfaces and expansion joints come through more than they would in a softer luxury SUV. In the calmer drive mode it's perfectly liveable for a week. Just don't expect limousine float, because that was never the brief.

What it costs to feed

A 650 hp engine has a thirst to match, and being straight about it saves you money. Combined consumption sits near 16.8 L/100 km, and hard city driving in the heat takes it past that. With an 85-litre tank, expect to refuel every 350 to 400 km of mixed use, and faster if you keep chasing the noise. Use premium fuel only. Across a few short, dramatic outings the fuel barely matters; across a week of long daily highway distances, it adds up quicker than most people guess.

Space, luggage and the people problem

The 616-litre boot is the practical trick that low supercars can't match. It swallows two large hard cases plus soft bags, so an airport run for two with a full week's luggage fits without folding anything. Four passengers each with a big case is the limit, and that's when a rear seat comes down. Treat it as a genuine four-seater. The fifth, middle seat works for a quick hop across town but not for anyone tall on a longer drive.

Parking, ramps and the legal small print

The width is the daily friction nobody mentions while staring at the engine. The Urus is over two metres across with the mirrors extended, so tight bays in older malls and some residential towers are a slow, careful, sensor-guided job. The front sits low for an SUV, which means steep mall ramps and harsh speed bumps want a slow, angled approach or you'll scrape the splitter. On the legal side, Salik tolls, RTA fines, and speed-camera penalties all pass to you as the renter, and enforcement in Dubai is automatic at the kind of speeds this car makes easy, so keep an eye on the limits. Seatbelts are required in every seat.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the Urus 2023 if you want the most current version of a super-SUV that's an occasion to look at and properly quick to drive, while still carrying four people and their bags. It's the right call for a milestone trip, a launch, or a few days where the car is meant to be part of the story, and the newer cabin is the reason to take it over an older year.

Skip it, or size your choice differently, if you mainly want a soft, quiet ride for long airport and family runs, or if your week is mostly tight parking and you'd rather not budget for a serious fuel bill. A Bentley Bentayga or a Range Rover gives you the luxury-SUV calm with far less drama. And if the latest interior isn't the point for you, an earlier Urus saves money for nearly the same drive. Confirm the security terms when you book, since a car at this level can carry stricter conditions than a standard rental.
