Skip the deposit and you can have the Lamborghini Urus 2022 at your door in Dubai within an hour or two, which is the part most people don't expect from a car like this. We run it on the no-deposit option, so the supercar SUV with the loudest badge in the valet line doesn't need a five-figure hold on your card. What makes the Urus worth a week rather than a single show-off night is the thing the spec sheet hides behind the 650 horsepower: it's a genuine supercar you can actually live with. Four adults fit, real luggage fits, and it'll still pin you to the seat on the on-ramp. This page is about whether that everyday side holds up.
Most cars that hit 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds make you pay for it the rest of the day. The Urus mostly doesn't. In its softer drive modes the air suspension calms down, the eight-speed automatic shifts without drama, and you can sit in Sheikh Zayed Road traffic without your spine filing a complaint. Then you switch to Sport or Corsa, the V8 clears its throat, and it moves like nothing its size should.
That dual personality is the whole argument. A two-seat coupe is a weekend toy you park and admire. The Urus does the school run and the midnight blast down E11 in the same day. If you want the noise and the presence but you also need the car to be useful all week, this is the one that does both.

The Urus is rated for five, and four adults genuinely fit without anyone folding into the door. Put a fifth in the middle rear and it gets tight for a long run, but two in the back have head and legroom that a low coupe can't touch. This is where it separates from the rest of the supercar shelf.
The boot is 616 litres, which covers a proper Dubai airport run. Two large cases plus a couple of soft bags go in for a DXB or DWC pickup without playing luggage Tetris. For four people on a week's holiday you'll manage; for four people each bringing two big suitcases, you'll be loading the back seats. It carries cargo like an SUV because underneath the drama, that's what it is.
No way around this one. The 4.0 V8 drinks. The official combined figure sits around 12.7 L/100km, but drive it the way you'll want to drive it in Dubai, short hops, traffic, the occasional full-throttle moment to hear it, and you're closer to 16-18 L/100km. On the 85-litre tank that's a real-world range of roughly 470 to 530 km of mixed driving before you're back at the pump on 98 octane.
For a week of city use expect to fill up two or three times. If running cost is the thing keeping you up at night, that's your sign to look elsewhere. The Urus is the experience, not the economy car, and pretending otherwise wastes your money.
It's just over two metres wide before mirrors, and 5.1 metres long. In a tight Marina multi-storey or a packed mall bay you feel every centimetre, and the 360-degree cameras stop being a gimmick and start being the reason you park clean. The nose sits low, so take steep ramp entries and aggressive speed bumps at an angle and slow. The air suspension will lift the body for clearance, but it won't save a scraped lip if you charge a bad bump.
On heat, a parked Urus on a 45-degree summer afternoon gets brutal inside like any big SUV. The climate system is strong and pulls the cabin down quickly once you're moving, with rear vents for the back seats, so the first couple of minutes are the worst of it.
Standard Dubai rules apply and they land on you, not us. Salik tolls run to the renter, and any RTA fines, including the speed cameras that blanket Sheikh Zayed Road, pass through to whoever booked the car. That matters more in a 650 hp car than in a hatchback, with the temptation right there under your foot. Seatbelts are mandatory in every seat. Stricter security terms may apply on a car at this level, so confirm the requirements when you book.
Rent the Urus 2022 if you want one car that does the statement-arrival job and the daily-driver job at once, and you've made peace with the fuel bill. It's the pick for someone bringing three friends along who'd otherwise need a second car, or anyone who wants supercar pace without giving up a back seat and a boot for the week.
Skip it if your week is mostly quiet cruising, long highway stretches, and chauffeured comfort. A Bentley Bentayga or a Range Rover Autobiography gives you a softer ride, a calmer cabin, and a fuel bill that stings less, with presence of a different kind. The Urus is for the person who wants to be heard as well as seen, and who'll actually use all 650 horses. If that's you, it's the most usable way to drive a Lamborghini for a week in Dubai.
