We bring the Lamborghini Urus 2022 to your hotel lobby or villa gate, usually inside one to two hours, so the most dramatic SUV in Dubai arrives without you queuing at a counter. This is the super-SUV that refuses to pick a lane. It has the noise and the launch of a supercar, the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 firing it to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, yet it seats five and swallows real luggage. So the question this page settles isn't whether it's fast. It's whether a car this theatrical can also do your airport run, your school run, and a week of Dubai driving without becoming a chore. Mostly, yes, with a few honest caveats.
Think of it as a Huracan you can put a family in. The V8 makes 641 hp (650 PS in metric badging, which is why some listings round it to 650), all of it through all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic that shifts hard when you ask and smooths out when you don't. Drive modes change its character completely. In Strada it's a firm but civil daily; switch to Sport or Corsa and the exhaust opens, the gearbox sharpens, and the thing genuinely shoves you back into the seat.
What makes it rentable rather than just rentable-for-photos is the practicality underneath the drama. Five seats, a usable boot, a high driving position, and air suspension that lifts the body when you need clearance. You can valet it at a five-star, then take four passengers and their cases to the airport, and it does both jobs without complaint.

A parked Urus in July bakes like anything else, and its cabin is large, so the first minute matters. The climate system is strong and the vents shift a lot of air fast, so the front cools quickly once you're moving and the AC has airflow to work with. Rear passengers get their own vents, which on a full car to the airport is the difference between comfort and complaints. My honest advice on a 45-degree afternoon: drop the windows for the first thirty seconds to dump the trapped heat, then close up and let the system catch up. It will, and quicker than most large SUVs.
This is a wide car. At 2026 mm across the body before mirrors, it fills a standard bay and then some, and tight multi-storey ramps in older Marina towers take care. Park nose-out where you can, use the cameras, and don't expect to thread it through the gaps a hatchback shrugs off. The upside is the air suspension. Raise it and the scrape-prone front lip clears mall ramps and the aggressive speed bumps in residential clusters that catch out lower supercars. Sheikh Zayed Road is where it relaxes. At a legal 120 it sits flat and quiet, overtakes without drama, and feels planted in a way that makes long airport hauls to DXB or the longer run out to DWC genuinely easy.
Don't rent the Urus expecting economy, and don't believe any brochure number that suggests it. Driven the way most people drive a V8 they're paying for, expect roughly 16 to 17 litres per 100 km in mixed Dubai use, worse if you keep poking Corsa mode. The 85-litre tank still gives you a usable real-world range, comfortably enough for several days of city driving plus an airport run or two, but plan on filling it before you hand it back. Premium fuel, and budget for it honestly.
Two things every renter should know. Salik tolls are on you, and a car this fun racks up gates fast on the SZR corridor. RTA speed cameras and any fines also pass to the renter, and Dubai's enforcement is unforgiving, so the 305 km/h top speed is a number on paper, not an invitation. Seat belts are mandatory in every seat, and a child seat is required for under-fours. On the boring-but-important side, an exotic like this carries a higher minimum age and stricter security terms than our economy fleet. Confirm the exact age and deposit conditions with us at booking rather than assuming the standard car-rental rules apply.
Rent the Urus if you want a statement car that still earns its keep: a couple making a weekend of it, a small family that needs five seats and a boot but refuses to drive something dull, or anyone who wants supercar theatre without surrendering the airport run. It's far more usable than a two-seat Lamborghini, and that's the whole point of it.
Skip it if your week is mostly tight underground parking and short errands, where its width and thirst are pure friction, or if you simply want fast and don't care about badge and noise. A lesser performance SUV will cost you far less to run. But if the drama is the reason you're renting, the Urus delivers it five seats deep, and we'll have it at your door before lunch.
