Press the throttle on the Lamborghini Urus 2022 and 650 horsepower fires a 2.2-tonne SUV to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, which is the whole reason most people rent one in Dubai. We hand it over with a no-deposit option, so you can have the V8 super-SUV on your driveway without a five-figure hold sitting on your card all week. This page is about the experience: the launch, the noise, and the presence that turns heads on a Jumeirah valet line. It's a genuine supercar drivetrain wearing four real seats, and that combination is exactly what you're paying for, thirst and all.
The pitch is simple. You get supercar acceleration with room for people and bags, and a shape that everyone recognises. On Sheikh Zayed Road the Urus pulls past traffic with almost rude ease, the twin-turbo V8 never sounding strained even when you're already moving quickly. Top speed is a quoted 305 km/h, which you will never legally touch here, but the way it gathers pace from 80 to 140 for an overtake is the part that matters on the E11.
Presence is the other half. Pull up at a Yas Marina restaurant or a Downtown hotel and the Urus does the talking before you've opened the door. People who book this car usually want exactly that, and it delivers in a way a normal luxury SUV doesn't.

This is the honest part. A 650 hp V8 driven the way you'll want to drive it does not sip fuel. Official combined consumption sits around 16.8 L/100km, and in Dubai stop-and-go with the AC fighting 45-degree heat you'll see worse. With an 85-litre tank, a week of enthusiastic city driving means refuelling every couple of days. Fuel here is cheap by global standards, so it stings less than it would elsewhere, but go in knowing the Urus drinks.
Park a black or green SUV under the July sun and the cabin bakes. The Urus has the cooling to handle it. Front vents pull hard, the rear gets its own air, and a cabin this size drops from oven to comfortable in a few minutes rather than the long, slow cool-down you get in a cheap hatch. Leather seats still get hot to the touch, so give it a head start with the remote where you can. For four adults crossing town in summer, nobody in the back is going to complain about being ignored.
The Urus is just over two metres wide and more than five metres long, and you feel both in a Marina multi-storey. Tight bays and tight ramps demand patience, and you'll want to use the cameras every single time rather than trust your mirrors. The front sits low for an SUV, so aggressive speed bumps and steep mall ramps need a slow, square approach or you'll scrape the splitter. None of this is a dealbreaker, but a Urus is not the car you fling into a gap. Treat the width and the nose with respect and it parks fine.
Boot space is a usable 616 litres. Two large cases and a couple of soft bags fit for an airport run to DXB or DWC, which is more practical than the supercar badge suggests. Four people with a full week of luggage is where it gets tight, so pack with that in mind.
A few Dubai rules sit on the renter, not on us. Salik tolls are billed to you each time you pass a gantry, and on a car this visible you'll trigger plenty of them around the city. RTA fines and the radar and speed-camera enforcement that this car practically invites all pass to the renter too, so the temptation to use the full 650 hp on Sheikh Zayed Road has a price attached. Seat belts are mandatory in every seat. Drive it for the launches off the line and the presence, not for a top-speed run that ends in a fine.
Rent the Urus 2022 if the experience is the point: you want supercar pace, a cabin that seats four in real comfort, and a car that makes an entrance at every valet in the city. For a special week, a shoot, a celebration, or simply scratching the itch to feel a sub-four-second launch, nothing in the SUV class does it quite like this.
Skip it if you mostly need quiet, comfortable transport. The ride is firm, the width is a daily chore in tight parking, and the fuel bills add up fast. If you want space and badge without the hard edges, a calmer luxury SUV will leave you more relaxed and cost less to feed. The Urus is rented to be felt and seen, and stricter security terms may apply, so confirm the booking details with us.
