Most people scanning a Dubai rental list skip straight past the Infiniti Q50 2023 for a German badge they already know, and that is the gap this page exists to close. The Q50 is a genuine rear-wheel-drive sports sedan, built around Nissan's V6 engineering rather than a badge exercise, and we deliver it to your hotel, villa or terminal usually inside one to two hours of booking. It rents for real money less than a 3 Series or a C-Class while carrying more standard power than either. What this page settles is whether trading a famous badge for more car under the skin is a fair swap, and where the Q50 still asks you to compromise.
Every GCC-spec Q50 for this year runs the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6, 300 hp and 400 Nm through a 7-speed automatic and the rear wheels. That is meaningfully more power than the four-cylinder base engines most rivals ship with, and it shows the moment you need it. An overtake on Sheikh Zayed Road happens in one push, without the turbo lag or the strained note a smaller engine gives you at the same speed.
Rear-wheel drive is the other half of the story. On Dubai's dry, well-surfaced roads it makes the car feel planted rather than nervous, and the steering has real weight to it, something a lot of front-wheel-drive rivals simply cannot offer at this price. The trade-off sits low to the ground. Ground clearance runs around 127 mm, so a fast run at a speed bump or a steep mall ramp entrance rewards care rather than confidence, and this is not the car for gravel shortcuts or unpaved parking.

Be honest about the boot before you pack for it. At around 382 litres, the Q50 takes one large hard case and a soft bag comfortably, not a family's worth of airport luggage. Two people on a work trip or a long weekend load in without a second thought. Four adults each with their own suitcase will be fighting for space, and there is no folding rear seat trick that turns a sedan boot into an SUV's.
The back seat suits two adults well enough for a city trip or an airport run, with decent leg and headroom for the class, though it is not the stretch-out limousine feel of a bigger luxury sedan. A third passenger across the middle seat works for a short hop, not a long one. This is a car built around the driver and front passenger first, and the rest of the cabin follows from that.
Fuel is the honest cost of that V6 pull. Combined economy sits around 10 to 11 litres per 100 km, and a week of Dubai traffic lights and full air conditioning nudges it toward the higher end of that range. The 76-litre tank still gives roughly 700 km between fills in mixed driving, so you are not planning your route around the next petrol station. Mileage on this rental runs 250 km a day, with extra kilometres charged at AED 0.5 each, plenty for city errands, meetings and airport runs, and only worth watching on a long highway day out of the city. Salik tolls and any RTA fines picked up during the rental are the driver's to settle, and a child seat is required for anyone under four.
A cabin this size, under five metres long, cools down fast once you climb back in from a parked afternoon. Point the front vents at yourself for the first minute and the interior drops quickly compared with a bigger SUV that has more air to shift. It is not a large cabin, so a full car of four adults on a hot day will notice the AC working harder than it does with two people aboard, which is normal for a sedan this size rather than a flaw specific to the Q50.
Rent the Infiniti Q50 2023 if you actually want to drive during your week here, and you would rather have a properly quick, rear-wheel-drive V6 sedan than a familiar badge with a smaller engine underneath it. For that brief, and for less money than the obvious German alternatives, it is a genuinely good car that most renters never think to ask for. As a luxury sedan it books against a deposit confirmed at the time rather than the no-deposit option, and you will need to be 25 to take the keys.
Look elsewhere in two cases. If your week means four adults with real luggage or a family's worth of bags, the boot and back seat here are simply too small, and a mid-size SUV serves you better. And if brand recognition matters to you more than what is happening under the bonnet, whether for a client meeting or just personal preference, a 3 Series or C-Class will get you the same class of car with a badge everyone already knows. The Q50 is for the renter who has already made peace with the second question and just wants the better drive.
