Ferrari Purosangue 2024 - start from 7,331 AED / day

Want the rarest party trick in the supercar world, a naturally aspirated V12 you can fit your family into? We hand over the Ferrari Purosangue 2024 in Dubai with 250 km a day included, delivered to your door, keys in your hand inside a couple of hours. This is the Ferrari with four real doors and four real seats, the one Ferrari insists is not an SUV even though it sits taller than anything else they build. The whole point of renting it is the rare overlap: 6.5 litres of screaming V12 theatre, and room for three passengers plus a weekend's luggage. This page is about whether that overlap actually suits your week here, or whether you'd be happier in a plush luxury SUV or a sharper two-seat Ferrari.

The V12 is the reason you rent it

Turbos are everywhere now, even inside Ferrari's own range. The Purosangue's 6.5-litre F140 is one of the last big naturally aspirated twelves on sale, and it revs to 8,250 rpm with a noise no turbo car can fake. Peak power is 715 hp (725 PS) arriving at 7,750 rpm, and the thing pulls hard well before that. Nought to 100 km/h takes 3.3 seconds, and it runs past 310 km/h.

On Sheikh Zayed Road that translates to absurd, instant overtaking and a presence that clears the left lane without you trying. The eight-speed dual-clutch is smooth in traffic and savage when you ask it. All-wheel drive keeps that power planted, which matters on a dusty slip road or after a rare rain shower when the surface turns greasy.

If you've never heard a V12 wind out, that alone is worth the booking. It's the part of this car that no spec sheet captures and no rival in the rental fleet offers.

Does my family and luggage actually fit

This is where the Purosangue separates itself from every other Ferrari. It seats four, not two, and those are four proper seats. The rear pair are individual buckets with their own space, reached through rear-hinged coach doors that open backwards, so an adult can climb in without the contortions a coupe demands. Two adults sit comfortably back there for an airport run or a dinner across town.

Boot space is around 473 litres, which is genuinely useful. You'll get two medium cases and a few soft bags in for a DXB or DWC pickup, or a full weekend's shopping. Fold the rear seats and it grows considerably. For a Ferrari, that's unheard of. Just be clear on the limit: this is four seats, not five, and four adults with full-size luggage will fill it. A family of four with a child travels easily; a fifth person does not.

It drinks, so plan your stops

No way around this one. A 6.5-litre V12 driven the way you'll want to drive it is thirsty, and the official combined figure sits near 19.6 L/100 km. In real Dubai use, with the AC fighting the heat and you leaning on the throttle, expect worse. The 100-litre tank is large, which softens the blow, but a hard week of city and highway driving means regular trips to the pump. Budget for fuel as part of the experience. If frequent refuelling annoys you, this is not the car to rent.

The 250 km a day allowance is plenty for city life and airport runs. If you're planning long highway stretches to Abu Dhabi and back, keep an eye on it.

Heat, height and the realities of Dubai roads

Dubai in summer turns a parked cabin into an oven, and a black car in the sun is worse. The Purosangue's climate system is strong and the cabin is well sealed, so it pulls down from 45 degrees outside reasonably fast once you're moving, but give it a minute before you expect comfort. The rear occupants get their own attention, which matters when you're carrying passengers.

Height is the trade-off to understand. The Purosangue rides taller than a normal Ferrari, which helps with speed bumps and the kerbs around town. But at 185 mm of clearance it is still a low, fast GT, not a soft-roader. Steep mall ramps and aggressive humped bumps need care and a slow, square approach. Treat it like the high-riding sports car it is, not an SUV that shrugs off everything.

Then there's width. At 2,028 mm across, this is a wide car, and Dubai's multi-storey bays and Marina ramps are tight. Valet usually solves it, but if you're parking yourself, pick the end bay and take your time. The car is dramatic enough that you don't want a kerb rash story.

Standard Dubai rules apply. Salik tolls and any RTA fines are the renter's responsibility, and speed enforcement here is heavy and unforgiving in a car this fast, so watch the limits. Seatbelts are mandatory in every seat. Given the value of the car, stricter security terms may apply, so confirm the details when you book.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the Purosangue if you want the one exotic that does both jobs: V12 drama and four-seat usability, the car you take to dinner with friends and still drive like a sports car on the way home. Nothing else in the fleet gives you that combination.

Skip it if comfort and soft-road ability top your list. A flagship luxury SUV will ride plusher, swallow more luggage and worry less about ramps and bumps. And if you're a solo driver chasing the purest Ferrari feel, a two-seat berlinetta is lighter, lower and more focused. The Purosangue's gift is breadth. If you want one perfect thing instead of two very good ones, choose accordingly.
