Rear-wheel drive is the right layout for Dubai's dry, well-surfaced roads, and at a steady highway cruise the cabin settles into a hush that a lot of smaller luxury sedans never reach.

The rear seat you're actually paying for, and the boot behind it

The G70 rides on a 3,215 mm wheelbase, and nearly all of the extra length over a normal executive sedan goes straight into the rear seat. Two adults get real legroom, the backrests recline, and the quiet cabin turns a stuck hour in traffic into something you barely notice.
