The car gives you a clear surround view and steers light at low speed, which takes most of the stress out of it. Even so, if your week is mostly tight underground bays and crowded valet ramps, know that you're placing a big car, and leave yourself the room.

Out on the wide roads and at the airports none of this applies. The size that's a mild nuisance in a basement bay is exactly what makes the car feel planted at speed.

A few rental facts settle quickly. Salik tolls are billed to you as the renter, so the gantries on Sheikh Zayed Road and the main crossings add up over a busy week. Any RTA fine from the road or the camera network passes to you as well, so the speed limits are worth respecting in a car that hides its pace this well.
