The 63-litre tank still gets you around 650 km between fills, so a five-day work week means one stop at the pump rather than several. On the road it's an easy car to place despite the length. Ground clearance sits low, as on any sedan in this class, so take the steepest mall ramps and sharper speed bumps slowly and at an angle rather than straight on. Out on Sheikh Zayed Road or the E11 it settles into a quiet, planted cruise, and the front-wheel-drive layout gives up nothing on dry Dubai tarmac, where you'll never come close to needing the quattro version some A6 grades offer.
