Rent the latest Audi A6 2024 in Dubai with 250 km a day included, so the airport run, a few client meetings across town and a weekend out of the city all sit inside one allowance instead of nibbling at a tight mileage cap. This is the freshest version of the executive sedan, with the updated cabin tech and the quieter, more settled ride that the A6 is known for. Our job here is to help you decide whether this is the right car for a working week in Dubai. The short version: it's a refined, comfortable, tech-rich business sedan that's happiest cruising, not a sports car, and a sensible step below the full luxury class.
The A6 sits in the business class, one rung under the flagship sedans most people can't justify for a week. The 2.0-litre turbo four makes 245 hp and pulls the car to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, which is plenty for merging onto Sheikh Zayed Road and overtaking a slow truck in the right-hand lanes. It's quick enough to never feel strained, and that's the point. You're paying for refinement and a hushed cabin, not for lap times.
Where the 2024 car earns its keep is the day-to-day calm. The cabin is well insulated, the automatic shifts without drama, and at a steady 120 on the E11 the A6 feels like it could keep going for hours. If you want a sharper, more involved drive, this isn't it, and honestly most A6 renters don't want that anyway.

The numbers worth interpreting are below; the table is just there so you don't have to scroll back.
This is the question that decides a Dubai rental more often than people admit. Leave any car in an open lot in July and the interior climbs into the high 50s while you're inside the mall. The A6 handles the recovery well. The front vents move a lot of cold air quickly, and within a couple of minutes of driving off the cabin is genuinely comfortable rather than just less awful. Rear passengers get their own vents between the seats, which matters if you're ferrying clients or family in the back rather than just sitting up front yourself.
A practical habit: crack the windows for the first thirty seconds with the fan high before you commit to recirculated air. The A6's climate system is strong, but no system fights a 50-degree cabin instantly, and that opening blast of hot air is better pushed out than chilled.
The 530-litre boot is the reason this car suits airport work. Two large checked cases stand upright with room left for a couple of cabin bags and a laptop bag across the top, so a couple flying in for a week is comfortably covered. Push it to three big hard cases plus carry-ons and you'll be playing Tetris, but that's true of almost every sedan this size. The opening is wide and the load lip is low enough that you're not heaving suitcases over a high sill.
For a DXB or DWC run with two or three passengers and their luggage, the A6 is the right tool. Four adults each with a full case is where the boot starts to argue back, and that's worth knowing before you book.
The 63-litre tank is the figure that matters more than the headline economy number. In real Dubai use, mostly city traffic with the AC working hard and some highway stretches, expect somewhere around 9 to 10 litres per 100 km. That works out to roughly 600 km of mixed driving on a tank. For a typical week of meetings, mall runs and an airport trip or two, you're looking at one fill, maybe a top-up before you hand the car back. The mild-hybrid system shaves a little off in stop-and-go crawl by coasting with the engine off, but don't expect it to transform consumption. It smooths the restarts more than it saves fuel.
At just under five metres long, the A6 is a full-size sedan and it parks like one. Standard multi-storey bays in the older Marina and Downtown towers are tight, and you'll want to use the parking sensors and camera rather than eyeballing it. The car's long enough that a careless angle leaves the nose or tail poking into the lane. On open mall parking and hotel valet it's a non-issue. Speed bumps and ramps are fine; this is a low sedan but not so low that a normal community speed bump or mall entrance gives it trouble. Just take the steeper Marina ramps gently.
A couple of admin points that catch renters out. Salik tolls are billed to you, so the gantries on Sheikh Zayed Road and the bridges add up across a week. Any RTA fine during your rental passes to you as well, and seatbelts are mandatory in every seat, front and back.
Rent the A6 2024 if you want a quiet, well-appointed sedan for business travel, comfortable highway miles and the occasional airport pickup where the car itself makes an impression without shouting. It's the car for the visiting executive, the long-stay business renter, or anyone who wants real refinement for the week without paying flagship money.
If you regularly carry four adults with full luggage, or you simply want the most space and presence possible, size up to an A8 and accept the higher cost. If it's just you and a passenger doing city errands and the badge isn't the point, the A4 does most of what the A6 does for less. The A6 is the middle answer, and for most people booking an executive sedan in Dubai, the middle is exactly right.
