Why hire the Renault Fluence?
Fluence is an all-new budget model from Renault, built in Korea and designed for Eastern-European and Middle-Eastern markets. Sized somewhere between a compact and a midsize, it is value-priced and can be loaded with up with respectable features. Powered by a weak 1.6-litre 4-cylinder engine, this front-wheel-drive sedan can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic. A 2.0-litre model comes later with a CVT. Standard features include variable electric power steering, anti-theft alarm, adjustable steering wheel, power windows, electric mirrors, CD/MP3 player, manual a/c and 15-inch steel wheels. Higher models can be specced up with a Arkamys or Bose stereo, USB/iPod ports, Bluetooth, auto-dimming mirror, split-folding rear seat, leather, 16-inch or 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, auto headlights, keyless start button, dual-zone automatic a/c, fog lamps, rain-sensing wipers, sunroof and more. Standard safety features include ABS-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution, two front airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners, with optional features such as stability control and side-curtain airbags.
