Where the car waits at your villa

Parking is the easy part in The Springs. Almost every villa and townhouse comes with two covered spaces in the driveway, plus visitor bays along the bylanes, so the car you rent sits at your own door rather than a shared podium. We bring it inside the gate and leave it on your drive, keys handed over in person.

The friction is the entrance, not the parking. The Springs is gated and the security desk works off a resident's approval, so we give the guard the booking name and plate ahead of time when you tell us the cluster and villa number. If you would rather meet outside the barrier, the Springs Town Centre car park or the Meadows Town Centre lot both work as a handover point a couple of minutes away.

For getting around the loop roads inside Springs 1 through 15, a compact sedan is the sensible pick. The internal streets are narrow with speed bumps and tight turns near the lakes, and a smaller car parks and threads through far easier than an SUV you do not need.

Salik on your route out

The Springs itself has no toll gate, and the roads inside Emirates Living are free. You only meet Salik once you head out onto the main network, so what you pay depends entirely on which way you go.

Run toward Dubai Marina or JBR, around 14 minutes via the local roads, and you can often avoid a gate altogether. Point the car at Downtown or DIFC, roughly 22 minutes, and you will cross a gate on Sheikh Zayed Road or the Business Bay Crossing on Al Khail Road. Salik runs at AED 6 during peak hours, 06:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, AED 4 off peak, and it is free between 01:00 and 06:00. Sundays and public holidays are a flat AED 4 all day. Two linked gates passed within an hour count as a single charge.

If your daily drive is the school run and the supermarket inside the community, your Salik bill stays small. It is the commute to the other side of the city that adds up, so it is worth knowing your usual road before you assume the worst.

Delivery and handover

We deliver across Emirates Living and meet you at the villa at a time you set. The handover takes a few minutes: a look over the car together, the documents checked, and the keys in your hand. Residents need a UAE driving licence and Emirates ID, while visitors bring a passport, a home licence, and an International Driving Permit if your nationality requires one.

When the rental ends we collect from the same spot, so there is no trip to a depot to close it out. Tell us the cluster and villa when you book and the gate approval is ready before we arrive.

No deposit, and how tolls and fines are settled

We do not hold a deposit, which means nothing is blocked on your card during the rental. Salik is charged automatically as you pass a gate and passed on to you afterward at the same amount, with the gate crossings shown, not estimated against money we are sitting on.

Dubai enforces speed and lane rules heavily by camera, so a fine can land days after the drive. If one comes in against the car during your rental, we pass it on at the original government amount plus a flat admin fee, and we show you the fine. Because there is no deposit to draw down, both tolls and any fines are reconciled after you hand the car back, with the real charge in front of you rather than a number deducted from a hold.
