The Al Barsha Salik gate sits right beside the mall on Sheikh Zayed Road. Salik is AED 6 at peak hours, 06:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, and AED 4 the rest of the day. It drops to nothing between 01:00 and 06:00, and runs a flat AED 4 on Sundays and public holidays.

That one gate is what defines the cost of using this area as a base. Push toward Dubai Marina or JBR and you stay close, roughly 15 to 20 minutes off-peak, with the Al Barsha gate the main toll on the way. Head to Downtown and Burj Khalifa and you are looking at 20 to 25 minutes, picking up Al Safa on Sheikh Zayed Road too. If your day is mostly mall, metro, and the immediate Al Barsha streets, you might cross Salik just once or twice, which keeps the running cost low.

Parking is the easy part here, which is unusual for a Dubai landmark. The mall holds more than 7,000 covered spaces across four levels with direct access to the shops, free for the first four hours Monday to Friday and free all day Saturday and Sunday. Spend around AED 150 and validate the receipt and you generally get the full day. The barrierless system reads your plate now, so a short paid stay beyond the free window is a small flat charge rather than a ticket queue.

Valet sits at the Fashion Dome entrance and at Car Park Entrance B, with VIP parking on the ground floor next to Sheikh Zayed Road. If we are handing the car over to you at the mall, valet is the cleanest meeting point, since you step out, we hand over keys and papers, and you are gone. If you are staying in one of the Al Barsha hotels or apartments nearby, we will bring it to the building instead so you never deal with the car park at all on day one.

Because parking here is roomy and covered, you are not forced into a compact to fit a tight tower bay the way you would be deeper in the Marina. That frees the choice up to match the trip.
