The right car for an Al Furjan address

Al Furjan splits into two kinds of homes, and that mostly decides the car. If you are in one of the villas off Murano or Quortaj, you have a private garage and a driveway, so size is barely a constraint. A mid-size SUV makes sense for a family, especially if you are doing the school run or an out-of-town trip to Abu Dhabi or the east coast.

Apartment residents in the towers near the metro and the Pavilion have basement parking, but the bays can be tight and ramps are narrow. A compact or a small sedan parks and turns far more easily down there. If you only need the car for the daily commute up Sheikh Zayed Road, a compact also keeps your fuel and Salik runs down. We will tell you straight if the SUV you asked for is going to be awkward in your building, and suggest something that actually fits.

Where the car waits once we deliver it

We bring the rental to your exact spot. For villas that means the driveway, keys handed over at the door, and the car parks in your garage like any other. No valet, no guard to clear, which is one of the simpler handovers in Dubai.

For apartments, tell us your building and your bay number when you book. We can meet you in the basement or at the building entrance, whichever your security setup allows. A few of the newer blocks near the Al Furjan Pavilion run visitor parking separately from resident bays, so if you have a free resident spot, the car can sit there for the whole rental. If you do not, the Pavilion and the Clubhouse both have large car parks within a short walk, and we can leave it there instead. The point is the car waits where you live, not a drive away.

Salik and what the route out actually costs

Al Furjan sits between two big roads, and which one you take decides your toll bill. Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) is the fast line into Marina, Media City and Downtown, but it puts you through the Jebel Ali Salik gate. That is AED 6 each way during peak hours, 06:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, and AED 4 off-peak. Between 01:00 and 06:00 it is free, and Sundays and public holidays are a flat AED 4 all day.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) runs along the other side of the community and skips that gate, so if you are heading toward Expo City, Jebel Ali or out to Abu Dhabi, you often pay nothing in tolls. For a daily commute up to Marina, budget roughly two Salik crossings a day. Parking inside Al Furjan itself is free, and the Pavilion and most malls you would drive to are free too, so your real running cost here is fuel plus those crossings, not paid street parking.

No deposit, and how Salik and fines are settled

We do not hold a deposit, which matters more than it sounds for a community rental where you might keep the car a month. Salik is charged automatically as you pass a gate, and we pass that on at the real amount, with the original charge shown to you after the rental rather than guessed at upfront or held against a block on your card.

Fines work the same honest way. Dubai enforces speed and lane rules heavily by camera, and the Jebel Ali stretch of Sheikh Zayed Road has cameras you will want to respect. If a fine comes through against the car during your rental, we pass it on at face value with a flat admin fee, and you see the original notice. Nothing is taken from a deposit you never paid. A debit card is fine to rent on, and you can pay that way too.
