Commute to Downtown or Business Bay in the morning rush and you are looking at a gate or two each way, so budget for it. Salik is billed automatically as you pass and we pass the exact charge on to you after the rental, with nothing rounded up.

Drive times are short, which is the upside of being this central. Dubai Marina is 10 to 15 minutes, Downtown is 15 to 20, and DXB airport is about 25 to 30 minutes off-peak. That last one stretches in the evening crush, so leave early for a flight.

If your week is client meetings, a Mercedes C-Class or similar reads right for the area without being a stretch.
